A short term rental beats an expensive hotel any given day of the year. When spending a considerable amount of time in a country that is foreign, the best way to go through one's day is knowing that their usual meals and eating habits do not have to be interrupted due to a lack of resources to accomplish the job.
At a hotel one would have to get accustomed to easting restaurant food, though many may not be even the slightest bit shaken up by this, it is not the ideal way to survive.
